Blessings Upon Blessings

Blessings Upon Blessings

Dr. Deborah Gordon

“It’s easy to take for granted walking, breathing, even being able to see a flower… Whatever is going on, no matter how crazy, it helps to find ONE thing, ‘THIS is what I’m grateful for.’ It becomes your anchor.

Tosha Silver

As we celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday, October 10, join Dr. Deborah and your Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna community for a Thanksgiving message wrapped in some practices to support us all in really diving deep into the spirit of Thanksgiving this year.

We’ll be live, in person, at the Innovation Centre for those comfortable with all the required safety protocols, and on Facebook Live for those choosing to attend virtually at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

Tune in early at 10:20am to hear the music of New Thought musician, Karen Drucker.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

Share the Dream

We dedicate our time, talent, treasure, and expertise to the healthy and joyful evolution of our spiritual community, the community in which we live and the greater community of the world.

We consistently welcome more and more of the Divine Nature to be realized within us and revealed through our relationships, our decisions and our contributions to the world.

Ernest Holmes said we are “open at the top” with space for both dream and vision. This means we know fantasies can become reality when we choose to step into the void.

Our internal state of mind influences those around us. Ernest Holmes frequently said that we are each “spiritual broadcasting stations”.

When we acknowledge and recognize the diversity of our own spiritual communities and work collectively, we witness the Greater Light that shines through. This visceral experience changes us. We are not only creating, but demonstrating “a world that works for everyone”.

Thank You, Community!

Thanks to everyone who attended our Community Town Hall meeting last Sunday. What a joy it was to gather and to hear the ‘pulse’ of our community! Thanks for taking the time to be there.

Book Discussion

The Body is Not an Apology: The Power of Radical Self-Love

by Sonya Renee Taylor

Facilitator Amanda Pope looks forward to discussing this powerful book with others in a safe and accepting space.

“I’m excited to create that space where we can share and explore what it means to practice radical self-love. We all have bodies, and many of us have complicated relationships with them. Join me as we dive into exploring the ways in which society’s view of physical bodies has the power to impact our life experience, and how we can also free ourselves by practicing self-love.”

Starts October 20, 2021 at 6:30pm to 8pm, every Wednesday for 6 weeks. Please RSVP on the event page.

Suggested donation: $80

  • Donations can be made through our website or by e-transfer to donate@cslkelowna.org.

MIND-FULL MOMENT

Things exist in the Universal Mind as ideas. Ideas take form and become things in the concrete or the visible world. Thought calls things forth from the universal into expression.
