Oneness, Freedom, and Love: Being a Florist in the World
— Amanda Pope, RScP
“Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow.”
— John Lennon
Happy Father’s Day! This week, we honour all of the dads who do such important work in shaping future generations. We also honour the metaphysical idea of fathering new ideas into the world. This is a time for new ideas. Amanda will share her thoughts about recognizing our oneness with Spirit, and then planting the seeds of love from that place in order to create freedom for all.
Join Amanda and the rest of the Sunday Six on June 20, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
What’s Evolution Without Love?
Without love, evolution is a spiritual path of apathy, complacency, and lethargy. It is easy to talk about love and more challenging to love our neighbour as ourselves. The evolutionary leap of this radical love calls us to reach out and love each other.
Love is the impulse and Law is the way of creation. Love points the way and the Law makes it possible.
Although we come from the One Creator, often we as human beings having a spiritual experience seem to forget that there is just one thing going on (Spirit expressing Itself as Itself). Let us realize that now is the time to involve our word of Love so that we might create a human condition of freedom once and for all.
We live in a thoughtful and Intelligent Universe that is always creating. Each of us is free to express ourselves in whatever way we see fit. Let’s work with one another to celebrate our oneness and interconnectedness. By doing this, we can achieve our aspirational idea of creating a world that works for everyone.
Park Meet and Greet in July
We’re excited to be going ahead with a very casual get together with our community to say hello in a safe, distanced manner at Kinsmen Park (2600 Abbott Street, close to the Pandosy Peace Centre) on Sunday, July 11th at 1pm. No program, no agenda, just a Park Meet and Greet as we start to ‘open up’ after our time of restrictions.
Since we’ll be outdoors, masks will be according to your level of comfort. We’ll be sure to honour and respect everyone’s individual choices, including our own. We look forward to seeing you!
