Holiday Service: The Presence in the Present is Present

The Sunday Six

Every gift which is given, even though it be small, is in reality great, if it is given with affection.

— Pindar

Join us for our festive Holiday Service this Sunday, December 20th. It's our “Gift Box Sunday” and you can make a Christmas Card mini-box in advance using this how-to tutorial on YouTube. (Alternatively, you can bring any suitable small box or tin.) Bring it along and be ready to fill it up along with the Sunday Six and our community on Facebook Live!

We’ll also hear Rev. Barbara Samuel’s stirring rendition of “O Holy Night”.

Join the Sunday Six on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Point of View from the Science of Mind

Light is a theme in December. How do we celebrate light and cultivate light in ourselves?

When we talk about light, we must also talk about darkness, as they only have meaning in relationship to each other.

People like Gandhi, Maya Angelou or Mother Teresa faced hate and fear with love and forgiveness. They are true beacons of light that inspire the world.

The light is inside each of us, too. Depending on where we are in our spiritual development, that light might be a flickering flame or a giant bonfire, always ready for us to nourish it and let it get brighter and stronger.

Cultivating that divine light inside means expressing it through our thoughts and actions. This creates a ripple effect of love in the world!

Share your light by:

● having fun;

● living your soul’s purpose; and

● being of service!
