New Minister Selection Committee – Call for Interest!
And so it begins! The much anticipated process of calling in our new Senior Minister is underway. The Board of Trustees has been working closely with our larger organization, Centers for Spiritual Living, to determine the next steps in our transition.
The first step of this process is creating a New Minister Selection Committee. The call for members of this vital committee is officially launched. This is our future, and the future of our Centre. We need you.
This vital committee pulls together our recruitment package, organizes all the parts and pieces of the candidating process, and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
The committee is composed of no more than 8 people that make up an equal representation of our overall community. This means it will be constituted by 2 Board of Trustee members, 2 practitioners, 2 community members, and 2 other leaders within our community. The work of this committee is supported and guided by the Centers for Spiritual Living home office.
There is a significant time commitment which includes weekly meetings, creation of our community profile, interviewing candidates, as well as reviewing and processing of materials outside of meetings. This also includes a 4-day commitment from Thursday, September 28 to Sunday, October 1 to participate in the Co-Creation Process as guided by Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn.
