This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

Stayed!

“I woke up this morning with my mind stayed on Spirit!” Keeping our attention focused on our relationship with and as God throughout the day and throughout our lives, transforms our experience because our perspectives and perceptions of life are filtered through the lens of Truth, Love, and Oneness. It gives us the resilience and perseverance to meet whatever may come our way.

When we are mindful of the flow of Spirit through us, we can give up striving, being fearful, and being attached to outcomes. We can be at peace knowing the Divine Source is always working through us as Divine Perfection. We start by reminding ourselves of the powerful, pervasive Presence. Then we remember that we are channels of that Good. We can look at our life challenges and circumstances, and know that nothing is more powerful than the Divine Source within. We are powerful creators. We consistently claim that only Good comes to and from us.

Our minds are stayed on Spirit as we move powerfully and unself-consciously, knowing that it is Spirit within us that does the work. The mind may habitually believe in the power of the situation, but we forgive ourselves 70 x 7 times, and redirect our minds to the Truth: God is only Good. We are not here to repair something that is broken. We are not a reaction, we are a creation.

Infinite Spirit is expressing Itself as us, right now, in powerful, innovative ways. We trust the Divine Spirit within us. Now is the time for us to listen to the voice of our vision.

Emerging in Oneness: Peace Crane Sculpture

On July 16, 2021, the Emerging in Oneness Peace Crane Sculpture was unveiled at the Centers for Spiritual Living Home Office.

This 1,000 piece suspended sculpture honours the continued inspiration and hope of all Centers for Spiritual Living Member Communities from around the world, as we emerge together from the global pandemic of COVID-19. Each Center, Focus Ministry, Teaching Chapter, Study Group and Spiritual Living Circle is individually represented by their own peace crane — uniting us as One.

See and read more about how the sculpture was created. Watch the unveiling video below.

August Hiatus for Zoom Meetings

Following careful contemplation, all of our community Zoom events are going to be on hiatus for the month of August. This is typically a time where many people are away enjoying a break and the beautiful summer weather. Taking time for everyone to refresh and reinvigorate so that they can come back ready for fall seems like a very wise idea. This includes our Sunday morning pre-service Meditations, our after-service Fellowship, and our Thursday morning Coffee and Connection.

We are delighted to continue our Sunday morning livestream service on Facebook Live throughout August. We will also be posting a pre-recorded meditation by Rev. Melody Bailey in our Facebook group.

CSLK’s Weekly Happenings

Sunday Meditation is on the first and third Sunday of each month. As we are on hiatus for the month of August, the next meditation is on September 5th, from 9:45am to 10:05am.
