The Standing Stones
— Rev. Barbara Samuel and Neal Klassen
Affirmation
I take time to listen to Spirit’s highest ideas of Life.
It's a Soul Food Sunday with Rev. Barb Samuel and Neal Klassen.
Sometimes we face what seem to be walls of circumstances made of stone.
They speak to us. Let’s listen, then speak back to them.

Once again, we'll be blessed with the talent of guest musician, Nathen Aswell. Nathen is a singer and songwriter who plays the Chapman Stick, a 12-stringed electronic instrument that is tapped with both hands like a piano. He is based in Vancouver, BC.
Join Rev. Barb and Neal this Sunday, July 30 at 10:30am PT at Studio 9, 1180 Houghton Road, Kelowna, BC. Doors open at 10:15am. Please visit the event page for more details and a map. Everyone is welcome!
If you are not feeling well, please take good care of yourself and watch us on Facebook Live.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
The Standing Stones
“One, alone, in consciousness with the Infinite, constitutes a complete majority.” (SOM 184.3) This powerful statement gives us a direction and a knowing of how to face the “standing stones” of our lives. This is the same invitation Jesus gives when he tells us to go into the closet, into secret, and commune with the Father. When the “stones” speak to us of our limitation, of their solidity and our frailty, of their power and our weakness, go alone into consciousness with the Infinite.
There we find our true strength, a strength far greater than the stones of circumstance. The very word “circumstance” means that which is standing around us. What is standing around is the combination of our own thinking, and the collective unconsciousness of others. More powerful than all that is the Infinite, standing within us and all around, above, below and behind the circumstances, calling us to see It through the walls. Instead of fighting with the stones, or accepting the stones as just “the way it is,” we go within and solidify our majority with the All That Is.
