Community Conversations
On July 8th, we held the first in a series of four 90-minute Community Conversations. In a safe and supportive environment, we're exploring anti-racism and topics like privilege, inherent biases, and systemic racial injustice.
Registration for the full program is now closed. If you didn't attend any sessions so far, but are keen to join for us for the last session, please contact Dr Deborah Gordon or Amanda Pope directly to discuss.
Upcoming Book Study
If you missed Community Conversations in Kelowna (or are looking for more on this topic), Centers for Spiritual Living invites you to join others from our greater organization to work towards greater inclusion.
Session facilitators, Rev. Sunday Cote, Rev. Rafe Ellis and Rev. Barbara Bue, are inviting practitioners and members to a study of the book, Me and White Supremacy by Layla Saad. They will be joined by representatives from each council to assist in a large group discussion and small group circles throughout each series.
Registration is now open and there is no fee to attend. Please sign up for your respective collegial group. The schedule is as follows.
Practitioner Book Study
