Consciously Engaging our Circuitry

Consciously Engaging our Circuitry

Dr. Deborah Gordon

We need not leave the world; for we may engage in all of its activities without being controlled by them; we may be in the world of affairs as masters of ourselves and our minds.

— Ernest Holmes

Spirit (Life, Love, God) is living out Its perfection as Us. It is knowing more of Itself as us. The only way that Spirit has of bringing forth our values for a “World that Works for Everyone” is through us.

Spirit is always 100% engaged with us. The question is: are we 100% engaged with Spirit?

For more on this topic, join Dr. Deborah Gordon and the rest of the Sunday Six this Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Point of View from the Science of Mind

Being spiritual doesn’t mean pulling away from the world; it means mastering it. Even though Spirit is truth and the world is just Its effects, this doesn’t mean that we can withdraw from the world and think we are closer to Spirit.

We are one, so that means that we are connected at the subatomic level. No matter who is our leader, or who is in our communities or household, let us stand for love in all arenas.

Save the Date: December 20, 2020

Grief Support Group Starts Next Week

A series of four drop-in meetings for Grief Support starts on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 7pm to 8:30pm on Zoom.

Grief affects us in different ways. Some feel sad, misunderstood, isolated, alone, confused, angry or guilty.

Our Grief Support Group offers support to anyone who is suffering from the loss of a loved one, separation from a life partner, or loss of connection to friends and family. The group offers a safe and respectful space to share, listen, and receive compassionate support and prayer from others. It's free to attend and donations are appreciated.

Join us on Zoom on a drop-in basis for each (or any) of the following Wednesdays:

November 18, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

November 25, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

December 2, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

December 9, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

MIND-FULL MOMENT

“The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises.”
