Here There Be Monsters

Here There Be Monsters

Neal Klassen

We can use the creative power of our minds to channel and magnify the ultimate goodness.

— Dr. Edward Viljoen

There are many paths to becoming a more spiritual being. But like all paths, there are side trails leading the wrong way, vistas that distract us from our journey, and sometimes monsters that make us turn around and run back the way we came.

This Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 10:30am on Facebook Live, Neal Klassen talks about how to stay on the true path that leads to compassion, peace, love and joy.

This Week’s Point of View from the Science of Mind

What is God giving you?

Everything. Life is fully supporting us at all times. It is up to us to awaken to it. You are the manifestation of God. If it is true of God, it must be true of us.

What words are you saying? Words become flesh. You become what you say. Pay attention when you say “I can’t” because it will show you where the edges of your limitation are, where you are limiting the Universe. Awaken to your truth and transcend your limiting beliefs.

Working in the Absolute is an awakening. Be the place where God shows up. Know that you are now fully supported by the Universe. Today, be a conduit of God. You are the Light! Shine on.

Wintertime Mandalas

As winter approaches, we are staying indoors more than before, and mandala colouring is a great way to keep the mind in a peaceful state.

Rev. Laura Hallett, creator of CSL’s Sacred Mandala Coloring Book, beautifully created five new Wintertime Reflections mandala sheets to colour. Each one is designed to inspire and ignite the joy-filled spirit and energy of the winter season. Download them here.

Grief Support Group

A series of four drop-in meetings for Grief Support starts on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 7pm to 8:30pm on Zoom.

Grief affects us in different ways. Some feel sad, misunderstood, isolated, alone, confused, angry or guilty.

Our Grief Support Group offers support to anyone who is suffering from the loss of a loved one, separation from a life partner, or loss of connection to friends and family. The group offers a safe and respectful space to share, listen, and receive compassionate support and prayer from others. It's free to attend and donations are appreciated.

Join us on Zoom on a drop-in basis for each (or any) of the following Wednesdays:

November 18, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

November 25, 2020 at 7pm (PST)

December 2, 2020 at 7pm (PST)
