About the event
The Walk of Memories is an interactive, healthy, and family-friendly way for people and communities to acknowledge losses and remember together. It's a ceremonial walk that is about 1 km long, through four stations, creating opportunities for participants to pause and reflect on the lives of their loved ones who have passed. It is sponsored by Kelowna General Hospital, the KGH Foundation, Springfield Funeral Home, McDonalds, and the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna.
The event concludes with refreshments, music, speakers and a closing ceremony. It is a powerful way to support yourself with grief as a participant.
Members of our CSLK community and the public are all welcome to participate in the walk. We are also seeking volunteers for the various stations or to assist with set-up or tear-down.
