Our Beloved Volunteers are the foundational hearts and hands of our Beloved Community!
On December 4th, we gathered in a beautifully festive Christmas setting to honour the volunteers who create the sacred container for our Centre every Sunday. Volunteering in our Beloved Community is an evolutionary Spiritual practice; it’s about so much more than the tasks at hand.
It isn’t just what they do—it’s the love, intention, and grace in how they do it that creates the beautiful atmosphere our Beloved Community experiences every week.
Team leaders Tracy Anderson and Trish Anderson, together with Pauline Weninger from the Spiritual Leadership Care Group, organized a wonderful evening of warm connection, delicious food, and heartfelt appreciation.
Tracy and Trish prepared gorgeous gift bags, fantastic food, and decorations that were absolutely over the top in the best way. Pauline treated everyone to her delicious mulled apple cider, and Corinne brought a huge pumpkin gluten-free cake for all to enjoy.
Throughout the evening, gratitude flowed freely. Our volunteers shared their joy, and we affirmed repeatedly how deeply valued they are. There are countless moving parts to offering a Sunday Service, and our volunteers handle each detail with such care, intention, and love that the entire experience unfolds with ease and warmth.

Tracy lovingly supports and manages multiple volunteer teams—Set-Up, Newcomers Table, Greeters, Offertory Counters—ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed and uplifted. Trish skillfully leads and supports our Brew Crew, creating the thriving hospitality and community-connection time we cherish each week.
It truly takes many Angels to create the atmosphere of belonging we experience every Sunday, and we are abundantly blessed with volunteers who shine so brightly.
This volunteer appreciation night was not only a celebration hosted by the Spiritual Leadership
Team—but included Rev. Corinne’s heartfelt message and Rev. John’s beautiful individual presentation of personalized written treatments for each precious volunteer.
Tracy and Trish’s devotion to their teams shone through all evening. With warmth and sincerity, they honoured their volunteers, reflecting back to them the love and light they bring to our Centre.
To all our volunteers: Thank YOU! You help weave the fabric of our community with your presence, service, and open hearts. We are grateful beyond words.
