A huge Thank-you to Tracy Anderson and all our amazing volunteers who stepped up for the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive last week! From handing out and collecting bags to greeting folks at Save-On-Foods, your joyful service embodied true Spiritual Activism.
The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive began in 2008 and has grown into a province-wide effort every September. What started in a few communities is now supported by diverse faith groups, businesses, and volunteers, all joining together to collect food for local food banks. It’s a beautiful example of unity in action, helping ensure families across BC are cared for at Thanksgiving.
Organized and championed by the Kelowna Latter Day Saints Community, CSL Kelowna knows joining together with other faith communities for this common purpose is powerful and vital—it strengthens connection, amplifies compassion, and makes a real difference for families in our community.
