Spiritual Mind Treatment by Pam Desjardine

I offer you this Affirmative Prayer, in the style of Dr. Ernest Holmes:  It is spoken in the first person, so take these words as your own if you choose. 

Beloved Infinite Presence,

Living Light that breathes galaxies into being and steadies the smallest heartbeat,

I turn within to the One Life, the One Mind, the One Perfect Wholeness that is the source of all. I know there is only this Divine Intelligence, and it is whole, harmonious, and complete. It knows no fracture, no confusion, no delay. It is radiant order expressing everywhere.

That Life is the life of this body now.

That Wisdom is the intelligence of every cell.

That Harmony is the rhythm of every organ, every system, every sacred process.

I know that the body is not a frail thing cast upon uncertain tides. It is a living temple of Spirit, guided by an inner pattern of perfection. The same Power that spins planets in their courses flows as vitality, renewal, and balance here and now. Every cell responds to this realization as flowers turn toward the sun. Restoration is natural. Strength is inherent. Peace is the atmosphere of this being.

I also know that circumstances are not fixed stones but living clay in the hands of Divine Law. There is a Law of Good, and it responds to thought as faithfully as soil responds to seed. I plant seeds of wholeness, abundance, clarity, and right action. They take root in the unseen and rise into visible form.

Confusion dissolves into order.

Obstacles rearrange into opportunity.

What seemed delayed now moves with graceful timing.

I release all belief in limitation, all attachment to fear, all memory of discord. These have no law to sustain them. I accept, with quiet certainty, that Divine Right Action governs every detail. Relationships align. Resources appear. Paths open like doors long waiting for a gentle touch.

I affirm vitality in the body.

I affirm peace in the mind.

I affirm harmony in every condition.

There is one Life, and that Life is expressing as health.

There is one Mind, and that Mind is guiding every step.

There is one Love, and that Love is arranging all things for good.

With gratitude that precedes visible evidence, I rest in trust. The work is done in Spirit, and therefore it is done in experience. Healing unfolds. Circumstances transform. Good flows freely and continuously.

And so it is.
