🌈 Pride 2026 Festival

Transforming Lives & Inspiring People to Make a Positive Difference in the World!

We declare the 2026 Pride Festival—and CSL Kelowna's presence there—the best yet!

Our booth was buzzing all day long as our volunteers shone their brilliant lights, sharing rainbow fans, bookmarks, Pride bracelets, bubbles, smiles, hugs, and heartfelt conversations with festival attendees.

It will surprise no one to learn that bubbles originating from our booth filled the air throughout the day, delighting children and adults alike. Hugs were given and received in abundance as people resonated with our Centre’s Purpose and our message:

"You are welcome here."Ā

What stood out most this year was the depth of the conversations. Many people expressed a longing for authentic spiritual connection, meaningful community, and a place where they could explore life's bigger questions without judgment. Time and again, people told us that our message of inclusion, possibility, and love deeply resonated with them.

Sometimes transforming lives doesn't happen from a stage or a classroom. Sometimes it happens through a welcoming smile, a heartfelt conversation, a shared laugh, or a simple reminder that someone belongs.Ā

Thank you to everyone who helped us inspire a positive difference in the world at Pride this year. Special thanks to Tracy Anderson, Melissa Taylor, Lori Legeas, and Tom Crockett, who helped support our presence from beginning to end. And yes—you can safely assume there were a few shenanigans along the way!

One of the beautiful truths about volunteering is that we rarely leave with less than we brought. Service has a way of expanding the heart. While we arrived hoping to make a difference, many of us left feeling profoundly blessed by the people we met, the stories we heard, and the connections we shared.

Thank you to everyone who helped us embody our vision of creating a world that works for everyone—one conversation, one smile, one bubble, and one hug at a time.
