Meeting The Shadow: The Parts We Hide

Our shadows are beautiful, necessary parts of us.  Shadow work asks us to stop suppressing parts of ourselves and start honouring every part of who we are.  When we hide our feelings, we don’t avoid the pain – we just bury it, and it shows up elsewhere, often at the most inappropriate moments.  Anger, grief, fear, joy – all of it is deeply human, and each feeling has something to offer us.
