About the event
You are invited to join Maureen Detwiller and her colleague, Kristen Karle for an 8-week Mindful Self- Compassion (MSC) course—an experiential journey into greater kindness, resilience, and inner balance.
We all experience struggles, heartbreak, and doubt; it’s part of being human. Mindful Self-Compassion offers a nourishing way to meet life’s challenges with more ease and understanding. It teaches us to offer ourselves the same warmth and care we readily extend to others—not from self-pity, but from
recognizing our shared humanity.
More than 4,000 research studies show that self-compassion strengthens emotional well-being, enhances relationships, and builds resilience. And the best part is: these skills can be learned.
Why MSC Matters for Science of Mind
In Science of Mind, we affirm that we live in a Universe of Love, Intelligence, and Law—and that our consciousness is creative. Yet many of us find it difficult to apply these Spiritual principles inward.
