When the Road Gets Rocky
When the Road Gets Rocky
— Dr. Deborah Gordon
“Awareness brings something of another dimension to the three-dimensional human being. In this awareness there is wholeness. In this awareness there is totality. Awareness is of One Life, One God.”
— Living and Teaching A Course in Miracles
If you read Dr. Deborah’s Happy Monday this week, you’ll know that the potential for big change for our Centre is in the air. As Amanda Pope shared in her message last week, autumn is known for change, and so our Centre is riding the wave that’s occurring, even as we still find ourselves in this liminal time.
Tune in early at 10:20am to hear the music of New Thought musician, Jesse Powers.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
When the Road Gets Rocky
When we push past our comfort zone, we are often faced with challenges to our old ways of being. Life can feel uncertain and our footing somewhat unstable.
Science of Mind reconciles the apparent separation of the spiritual world (which must be perfect) with the material world (which appears imperfect). The spiritual world is the cause of the material.
The road is not always smooth and brimming with trees. Sometimes it becomes winding and full of stones. However, it is still a fascinating landscape because of its different and unique nature.
We can use spiritual practices to become present and embody resilience. Practicing oneness, love and creation to experience the One Infinite Reality is living in alignment with our Science of Mind principles.
The One Infinite Reality is undivided, complete, and whole within Itself. This Oneness creates everything out of itself, and therefore includes both the absolute and relative, tangible and intangible, physical and metaphysical aspects of reality.
Let us acknowledge Divine Order regardless of conditions.
September 19: In-Person Sunday Celebration
