What’s New at CSL Kelowna 💗 June 24, 2022

We had a special Fathers Day service with musician Tanya Lipscomb last Sunday! If you missed it, please watch the replay. Bonus: In addition to providing affirmative prayer treatment from the podium, Dr. Kenn Gordon volunteered to train up on livestreaming support! See photos below.

It's a Soul Food Sunday coming up this weekend! Rev. Barb Samuel and Neal Klassen dive into living life with no "Regrats" (yes, the spelling mistake is intentional).

Join Rev. Barb, Neal, and our in-person congregation this Sunday, June 26th at 10:30am PT. Doors open at 10:15am. Please visit the event page for the address and parking details. Everyone is welcome!

If you are not feeling well, please stay at home and watch us on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

The One Body

The body is a powerful tool for the Divine, manifesting whatever is imprinted in first cause. We can use our bodies to feel into the holy moment before us, becoming completely present to the here and now. Our bodies are the exact point in space and time where we are pressed from limitless possibility into perfect and precise expression.

The body is a spiritual thing in its own right. Every single structure and process of our bodies are amazing when we really take the time to think about it. Our cells dance a divine ballet; every breath is Spirit rushing into the moment and space which we occupy via our miraculous and wondrous bodies.

Our bodies are part of the fullness of God, expressing Itself in as many ways as it can. They are divine instruments, created so that we can experience this life, and can be used to enhance that experience and serve as a connecting point between the physical reality in which we live and the spiritual reality of who we are.

Highlights from Last Sunday

Tanya Lipscomb sings for us!

We were so happy to have Tanya Lipscomb perform her beautiful music at our Father’s Day service on June 19th. It was so uplifting and moving! If you missed it, please watch the replay on YouTube. Thank you, Tanya!

Dr. Kenn volunteers on tech!

Thank you to Dr. Kenn Gordon for volunteering to learn how to do livestream support as a backup! He was the one commenting as Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna during the livestream service on June 19th, and the plan is for him to do the same on June 26th. Thank you, Dr. Kenn!

Installation Celebration and Community Potluck

We will be celebrating our Assistant Minister, Rev. Corinne Crockett at an Installation Celebration after our Sunday service on July 17th.

It will be followed by a Community Potluck. See more details on the event page. Save the date!

MIND-FULL MOMENT

If the Spirit, or Divine Intelligence, has seen fit to give us a physical body it would be absurd to think of the body as an illusion unworthy of our attention. Rather, we should think of the body as a spiritual instrument now.
