The Soul’s Call to Freedom

Rev. Barbara Samuel

“The Divine Plan is one of Freedom. The inherent nature of man is ever seeking to express itself in terms of freedom, because freedom is the birthright of every living soul.

Ernest Holmes

Come and hang out with Rev. Barbara Samuel and Neal Klassen for a Soul Food Sunday filled with laughter, song and ah-ha moments!

Join them and the rest of the Sunday Six on June 27, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

The Soul’s Call to Freedom

Be yourself. Authentically, we are an embodiment of the Divine.

We weren’t born to fit in, we were born to stand out. Regardless of what anyone says, our unique gifts have a purpose. It’s our responsibility to be ourselves. The more we express ourselves authentically, the more we inspire others to do the same. This is how we create a world that works for everyone.

We are what the world has been waiting for. Any challenges we’ve ever faced in our lives have prepared us for this moment. Now is the time to commit to showing up authentically and choose to live the life we’ve always dreamed. When we show unconditional love and acceptance to others, we are serving by example. If we want to see more unity, peace and joy in the world, we have to commit to experiencing these qualities in our own lives.

July 4th is Our Day Off!

We’re giving the Sunday Six a Sunday off! This will be only the second Sunday off in over 15 months! To make sure you don’t miss the Centre too much, you can go back to one of our many archived talks on YouTube. Enjoy!

Park Meet and Greet on July 11

We’re excited about having a casual get together with our community to say hello in a safe, distanced manner at Kinsmen Park (2600 Abbott Street, close to the Pandosy Peace Centre) on Sunday, July 11th at 1pm. No program, no agenda, just a Park Meet and Greet as we start to ‘open up’ after our time of restrictions.

Since we’ll be outdoors, masks will be according to your level of comfort. We’ll be sure to honour and respect everyone’s individual choices, including our own. We look forward to seeing you!

Fellowship

Everyone is invited to join CSLK community members Laura Green and Joanne Dallman on Zoom on the second and fourth Sundays of the month for a time of fellowship and connection right after our Sunday service.

Because we’ll meet in the park on July 11th, our next Zoom call is on July 25th. See event details.

The Drop In: Coffee and Connection

Coffee and Connection is every other Thursday, and the next one is on July 22 from 10am to 11am. Join Dr. Deborah Gordon and friends for an opportunity to chat with members of our CSLK community, about whatever is on your mind!

MIND-FULL MOMENT

We are to see that Spirit creates all things by the power of Its own word, and that we are spiritual beings. We are to hear that inner voice of Truth, which is ever proclaiming the freedom of all life, the eternal unity of God with man.
