Pulled By Vision

A Day Off for the Sunday Six

It just so happened that the Sunday Six planned to take the day off on July 4th. Kelowna is in the midst of a heat wave with record-breaking temperatures! The Pandosy Peace Centre doesn’t have air conditioning and with the heat from the lights and electronic equipment required to livestream our service, the day off will be much appreciated. In the meantime, please consider watching one of the many archived CSLK talks on YouTube.

Meditation will still be happening on July 4th at 9:45am as scheduled!

The SOM theme for July is “Pulled By Vision”. This month, we revisit our spiritual principles to launch into a fuller expression of the Vision. We re-Vision, refine, get clearer, and recommit to the Vision.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

We Hold These Truths

The act of conscious co-creation results in a world that is created through the collective ‘us’. Our actions are driven by clarity, courage and conviction.

“We see a world in which each and every person lives in alignment with his/her highest spiritual principle, emphasizing unity with God and connection with each other; a world in which individually and collectively we are called to a higher state of consciousness and action.”

— excerpt from the CSL Global Vision

We acknowledge our interconnectedness, our Oneness, and our responsibility to honour that Infinite Presence within each person and the magnificent diversity of humanity. Every identity brings an energy and intelligence that is essential to the creative, life-affirming evolution of humanity.

We have the responsibility, opportunity and authority to create a world in which everyone can thrive!

Park Meet and Greet on July 11

We’re excited about having a casual get together with our community to say hello in a safe, distanced manner at Kinsmen Park (2600 Abbott Street, close to the Pandosy Peace Centre) on Sunday, July 11th at 1pm. No program, no agenda, just a Park Meet and Greet as we start to ‘open up’ after our time of restrictions.

Since we’ll be outdoors, masks will be according to your level of comfort. We’ll be sure to honour and respect everyone’s individual choices, including our own. We look forward to seeing you!

Fellowship

Everyone is invited to join CSLK community members Laura Green and Joanne Dallman on Zoom on the second and fourth Sundays of the month for a time of fellowship and connection right after our Sunday service.

Because we’ll meet in the park on July 11th, our next Zoom call is on July 25th. See event details.

The Drop In: Coffee and Connection

UPDATE: The July 8 event has been cancelled! The next Coffee and Connection will be on July 22.

Coffee and Connection is every other Thursday, and the next one is on July 22 from 10am to 11am. Join Dr. Deborah Gordon and friends for an opportunity to chat with members of our CSLK community, about whatever is on your mind!

MIND-FULL MOMENT

Unity is the song of life; it is the grand theme underlying the rich variations that exist throughout the cosmos. Whatever we see, whatever we experience, is only a manifestation of this eternal oneness.
