Love on a Spectrum

— Rev. Corinne Crockett

AFFIRMATION

I embrace who I am and the Holy Spirit that expresses Itself as me!

Love has no limitations. Every person expresses love and experiences love, but we do it in our own way. Some people prefer polyamorous relationships. Pansexuals do not choose their partners based on gender. Cultural norms may lead the people around us to be critical of our choices to express love authentically. But when we stand in our truth and love out loud, we create loving change within our own communities. Cross-cultural relationships lead to more unity. Celebrating our love out loud helps normalize different ways of expressing love, and inspires others to embrace their own expressions of love.

Join Rev. Corinne this Sunday, September 10 at 10:30am PT at Studio 9, 1180 Houghton Road, Kelowna, BC. Doors open at 10:15am. Please visit the event page for more details and a map. Everyone is welcome!

If you are not feeling well, please take good care of yourself and watch us on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

Love on a Spectrum

Everything is spiritual. Everything is love. Who we are is who we are meant to be. Each one of us was brought to this moment in history, in the communities we were born into, for a divine purpose.

We are perfect just the way we are. The gender identities, sexual orientations and ethnic heritages that we were born with are the divine imprints that we were gifted with from Source. Who we are authentically is who we are meant to be, so we might as well celebrate who we are! God makes no mistakes.

There is no such thing as a “failed” relationship. All of life is relationship, and the entirety of our experiences connects us with the Spirit within. When we love out loud, we help shift the world towards acceptance of all forms of loving relationships.

Love exists on a spectrum. No one relationship is exactly alike as another. We have the opportunity to recognize that all of our relationships have contributed to becoming who we are.

MIND-FULL MOMENT

The essence of love, while elusive, pervades everything, fires the heart, stimulates the emotions, renews the soul and proclaims the Spirit. Only love knows love, and love knows only love. Words cannot express its depths or meaning.”
