ATOMIC THOUGTS
With Irene Kowalchuk RScP

“The tiniest little thing can change the course of your day”
– Taylor Swift
“The tiniest little thought can change the course of your life”
– Irene Kowalchuk
We are offered an abundant life with limitless possibilities that await us. Are we willing to accept this and live in abundance, or are we stuck in a poverty mindset, thinking that things will never change for us, that our circumstances will never change for the better?
Do we believe that the grass is always greener on the other side?
What if there was another way, a way to turn off the poverty mindset and turn on the abundance mindset?
There is another way!
We start by laying a strong foundation for abundance. True abundance is an inside job. We lay down everyone else’s ideas of abundance. Until we generate our own ideas of abundance with clarity, we continue to search, unsatisfied and unhappy.
We start participating in the flow of abundance by recognizing the generosity of the Universe all around us. What if we conditioned ourselves to respond to that generosity? With an attitude of gratitude, we can open our hearts to the flow and believe that the Universe is for us.
We can do it - one atomic thought at a time.
Join us at Studio 9 (1180 Houghton Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X 2C9). Doors open at 10:15am. Enter the property by the side entrance behind the staff parking lot. Look for our signs to guide you! Please use street parking or park at Ben Lee Park (1.5 blocks away).
Or you can always watch our live stream on Facebook Live via Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna's Facebook page.
After the service, you can find all talks on our YouTube channel.
Last Sunday's Talk
THE POWER OF JOY
Rev. Barbara Samuel

Last Sunday, Rev. Barb showed us how you can inject an attitude of joy and optimism into the group around you. You can provide others the opportunity to be infected with your positive outlook and the chain reaction is that positive infection that reaches even more people, including yourself.
Neal’s Science Corner looked at Evolutionary Mismatch, which explains how some species have not evolved fast enough to be rid of certain traits that once served them but no longer do. This goes for humans, too – but we can overcome Evolutionary Mismatch by transforming out minds, bodies and spirits.

NEW: INTENTION CIRCLES
Fresh off the Press!
Please plan to join us!
Sunday, November 3nd at approximately 12:00pm.

This is a call to Spiritual Action & Activism!
It is time for us, as the Beloved Community, to put what we know into practice as a collective. When we gather with conscious intention, the power is amplified.
It is time for us to consciously engage the power of what we teach and know, and actively participate in creating a world that works for all.
Many are aware of the ground-breaking research of Lynne McTaggart, as shared in her books, The Intention Experiment and The Power of Eight. As a Centre, we’ve utilized McTaggart’s method of harnessing the power of collective intention many times and been witness to what some might refer to as miracles.
With so much divisiveness, fear, and upset apparent in the world right now, we, as a Community, hold great power that enables us to amplify the good!
Together, we make a positive difference through adding our conscious intentions for peace, safety, and harmony, supporting the collective.
In alignment with our Centre’s Evolutionary Purpose of Transforming Lives & Inspiring People to Make a Positive Difference in the World, and our values of extraordinary respect, compassion, safety, & accountability, we’ll gather under the guidance of Rev. Melody, to hold Intention Circles this Sunday, adding our conscious intention for the peace and good of our world, as it is so needed right now.
Within the teaching of Science of Mind, we know this is what happens when we make use of the Law of Mind as a collective.
A beautiful but unexpected finding of McTaggart’s work is the great benefit experienced by those holding positive intention for others; this is no surprise to us as Religious Scientists, but it is wonderful to know.
Please join us following Sunday service & fellowship this Sunday, November 3rd, as we engage in Intention Circles. In this way, we’re active participants in Creating a World that Works for All.
Monday Night Book Study Continues
With Rev. John DePalma
Monday, November 4, 6:30-8:00 pm
Creating the Beloved Community… Update!
Wow! We had a great meeting Monday night with a lively discussion about what it’s going to take to create the Beloved Community! We’ve talked about form and structure; this week we look at how we’re being in the Beloved Community!
Next Monday, November 4 (week 9): Chapter 6:
PRESENCING
Presencing: To sense, tune in, and act from one’s highest future potential—the future that depends on us to bring it into being. Presencing blends the words ‘presence’ and ‘sensing’ and works through “seeing from our deepest source.”
~ The Presencing Institute
Imagine how it might feel for someone to enter your spiritual community… for the first time. What might their experience be? How do you think it would feel? What kinds of sensations would be experienced? What would they take away energetically?
If we’re creating the Beloved Community, might it be important to know?
The evolution of consciousness has brought us to this point but to evolve further we must develop the willingness to go deeper and develop awareness of our presence in our community.
Everyone is welcome to join in what promises to be an interesting conversation about dismantling traditional ways of thinking and reassembling a whole-body experience of integral spirituality.
I invite and encourage you to read the introduction and Chapters 1 to Chapter 6 to get a sense of what’s possible in the Beloved Community, so you can be fully engaged.
When logging in make sure your name and video are on so we can get to know one another a little better. This can be especially helpful for me as the newbie in our community, to help me connect names with faces! Also remember you can interact with chat and by using the “raise your hand” icon in the reaction drop down. I’m looking forward to seeing you all Monday night!
Here is the Zoom Link for the evening:
Monday Nights with Rev. John is a 10-week exploration of the book, Creating the Beloved Community, by Rev. Dr. Jim Lockard, a well-known and respected leader within the New Thought movement.
If you don’t have the book, you can join anyway, but your experience of these sessions will be enhanced through reading the book.
This book is available in paper-back or kindle version at amazon.ca.
