The Fourth Agreement: Always Do Your Best
With Rev. John DePalma
10:30 am – 12:30 pm
“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ’Til your good is better, and your better is best.”
St. Jerome
Who’s driving that bus anyway? From the trance of scarcity and our cultural domestication, we can become befuddled, confused and shamed by our own (or others) judgment of “best”!
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to feeling unwell. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.
Everything we do is based on agreements we have made, often unconsciously - agreements with ourselves, with other people, with God, and with life. But the most important agreements are the ones we make with ourselves.
Making new agreements, practicing a new way of being, supports us in creating a life of happiness, peace and joy.
When your attention is in the present moment, you enjoy life more intensely because you are more fully alive. Use your will and attention. You choose to believe what you want to believe, and that includes believing in yourself.
Use The Four Agreements to change your actions–reactions. Every choice you make has a consequence or result. When you change the action, you change the result, and you change the dream of your life.
Join us as we explore the 4th agreement, “Always do your best”
Sunday, November 17, 10:30-12:30
All you need to bring is an open mind and heart and a willingness to change your thinking!

Last Sunday's Talk
The What, Why, and How of Money
SPECIAL GUEST: Rev. Dr. Kenn Gordon
Abundance and prosperity do not have to be about money. It is always about energy. Everything is energy, and there is no lack of energy. Raymond Charles Barker called money, “congealed energy.” Maybe it’s not chasing after more…. Maybe it’s about celebrating what we already have!
Last Sunday, Dr. Kenn offered us a new perspective and understanding of discovering true abundance and prosperity, as he wandered through a rich contemplation on the “what, why and how of money.” This is a talk you may want to listen to more than one time to discover the many jewels of wisdom.

Monday Night Book Study Continues
With Rev. John DePalma
Monday, November 11, 6:30-8:00 pm
Creating the Beloved Community… Update on this book by Rev. Jim Lockard!
Wow! We had a great meeting Monday night with a lively discussion about what it’s going to take to create the Beloved Community!
We’ve talked about a new field of study that has emerged containing many important ideas and models for leadership.
The field can generally be described as the field of multiple intelligences that form the basic skill-sets needed to create the Beloved Community!
Though we said this book study would be 10 weeks we’re just having so much fun (and deep, rich conversation). So, we’ll keep going until we finish the book!
Next Monday, November 18 - (week 11) Chapter 7, part 2
EVOLVING LEADERSHIP
“Emotional intelligence does not mean merely ‘being nice.’ At strategic moments it may demand not ‘being nice,’ but rather, for example, bluntly confronting someone with an uncomfortable but consequential truth they’ve been avoiding.”
― Daniel Goleman
Yep! Inspired conversations about what we can all do to become the greatest expressions of who we have come here to be! Don’t miss out!
Even if you haven’t yet participated! Everyone is welcome to join in what promises to be an interesting conversation about dismantling traditional ways of thinking and reassembling a whole-body experience of integral spirituality.
I invite and encourage you to read the introduction and Chapters 1 through Chapter 7 to get a sense of what’s possible in the Beloved Community, so you can be fully engaged.
When logging in make sure your name and video are on so we can get to know one another a little better. This can be especially helpful for me as the newbie in our community, to help me connect names with faces!
Also remember you can interact with chat and by using the “raise your hand” icon in the reaction drop down. I’m looking forward to seeing you all Monday night!
Here is the Zoom Link for the evening:
Monday Nights with Rev. John is an exploration of the book, Creating the Beloved Community, by Rev. Dr. Jim Lockard, a well-known and respected leader within the New Thought movement.
If you don’t have the book, you can join anyway, but your experience of these sessions will be enhanced through reading the book.
This book is available in paper-back or kindle version at amazon.ca.
INSPIRATIONAL SONG OF THE WEEK
Soul Searching
Barbara Samuel & Neal Klassen
“SHE DID SOME SOUL SEARCHING, got rid of old learning, expressed her true feelings, and found some inner healing.”
Soul searching means trying to find meaning and purpose in life. It’s all about figuring out the “why” for our existence, and it’s about fueling our lives with purpose and intent.
