Embracing Wholeness

With Rev. Corinne Crockett

There is a spark of pure Life – wholeness – within us all. Within you. Rev. Corinne Crockett will touch on it this week and we can learn how to let it be the reference point for what we do in the world, for how we live our lives.

Tuesday, December 5

6:00 pm  - 8:30 pm at Studio 9

Crafts for Kenya

This will be a blast!  It’s a Appy Potluck and Work Bee to create decorations for the CSL Kenya Christmas Fundraiser. These crafts will become the perfect gift for those on your Christmas list, or for yourself.

Lives were changed in Kenya because of the generosity of CSL Kelowna last Christmas. Through the ‘sponsorship’ of Children and Staff of CSL Kenya, we exceeded their expectations.  And with your help we’ll do it again!

No skill or crafting talent necessary. Come and join in community as we prepare these decorations, each graced with a photo of a face and story of the children and staff of CSL Kenya.

children whose lives you have the power to change

These handmade decorations will be availble at Studio 9 on December 10th and at our Celebration of Light on December 17. They are available for a $60 donation that will feed a child for one month, and provide their family with flour and oil for a Christmas dinner. You can also donate by following the link in the poster below.

Special Sunday Service

Celebration of Light

With Rev. Corinne Crockett and Rev. Barbara Samuel

Put on your Spiritual Seatbelt, because CSL Kelowna is going to take you for a thrilling ride on Santa's sleigh. We're going to find out, "What Does Santa Want For Christmas?"

It's our annual Celebration of Light, to be held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, at 10:30 am to 12:00 Noon. Note the change of venue for this service. This is to help accommodate all the friends you're going to bring, and to provide a bigger stage for Sista B and the Boys, who'll be laying down some rockin' Christmas tunes!

Special singing guests Delphine Litke, Don Degen, and Katie Fletcher will join Barb and the Boyz as they support Rev. Corinne Crockett's seasonal message of peace, love, and joy.

We'll enjoy fellowship and refreshments following the service.

  • We are requesting non-perishable food items for the Kelowna Food Bank

  • Bring along finger-food, sweet or savory, to share following the service

  • Change lives by purchase a delightful CSL Kenya Christmas Ornament

  • Handmade Baskets & Shea Butter from Project GROW will be available for purchase

Taize – Metaphysics of Christmas

With Rev. Corinne Crockett

Welcome to our version of Taize, as we share the Metaphysical Meaning of the biblical Christmas Story.  With all the busyness and noise of the world, it is indeed a rare gift to enter into the silence, both internal and external.  We engage in a deep connection this morning…connection within the Divine and connection within the Self.

White Stone Ceremony

With Rev. Corinne Crockett

New Year’s Eve Release and Intention Setting

Join us for the White Stone Ceremony, steeped in the power and beauty of

ancient traditions. It’s out with the old and in with the new as we engage the power of intention to set our individual course for 2024.

This ceremony holds great power that’s enhanced by joining in the collective of our Spiritual Community.

Many of us come from bondage of some kind today. Often the bondage is created by our own mind. False beliefs of limitation we have accepted or created for ourselves, visions of ourselves, some that may have even served us at one time, that may be less than we’d desire.

We’ll each be given a white stone to signify our freedom. This white stone is a symbol of a new life, a clean slate upon which you write. It is a symbol of who you’d like to become, the intention you’re setting for the New Year.

In this ceremony, we let go whatever has gone on in the past. The White Stone Ceremony provides us with a powerful moment in which we know we are free; free from all that has bound us, free from the prison in which we have placed ourselves, free to engage the Law of Love for powerful creation.
