Not too Late for the Pot O’ Gold

Not too Late for the Pot O’ Gold

— Dr. Deborah Gordon

“I know that there is not one ‘pot of gold’ that everyone must dip into. But that we are the creators of abundance, and that the Universe will supply all that is wanted by all of us who will allow it.

Abraham-Hicks

In recognition of St. Patrick's Day, Dr. Deborah Gordon offers a refresher on the energy of money and currency in our lives.

Join Dr. Deborah on March 20th at 10:30am for our livestream service on Facebook Live, YouTube or the home page of our website.

Tune in early at 10:20am to hear the music of New Thought musician, Nathen Aswell.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

I’ll Rest When I’m Dead

How many times have we fallen into the temptation to glorify overwork and busyness, saying things like “I’ll rest when I’m dead?” One of the great wonders of this life is the sweet sense of Joy and Peace that comes with real, extended rest. Within rest, we interact with the quiet play of Spirit and add depth and substance to our spiritual practice. As we let go of constant motion, we open the door to the mystical.

Rest is needed for the body. It is valuable for quality of life and essential for the soul. Regular, sustained periods of rest are included within most faith traditions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and more). Corporate researchers tell us that rest makes us more productive. Doctors tell us rest reduces stress and allows the body to heal. Artists say rest allows us to connect with our inner creativity and problem-solving capacities.

In rest, we can truly see ourselves.

Releasing Ceremony

We will have a farewell and Releasing Ceremony conducted by Dr. Nadene Rogers on Saturday, March 26th at 10:30am at the Peace Centre. Dr. Nadene is creating a special ceremony for us as a group to facilitate our conscious closure of the Peace Centre. She’ll create a special opportunity for us to say a tender and heartfelt thank you and goodbye to our building. We’d love to see you there. Conscious endings create a beautiful fresh energy for wonderful new beginnings of our next greater yet-to-be. We hope you can join us.

MIND-FULL MOMENT

To enter the silence is to quiet our minds and enter that place of non-movement. To Be still and know that I am God is to enter the sanctuary of one’s own consciousness.
