Moving Forward to a Greater Good
— Dr. Kenn Gordon
“The only way to move forward is to let go of where you are.”
— Dr. Kenn Gordon
Dr. Kenn examines this timely topic of surrender and release. He’ll be sharing about how everything in life costs something, and that to get something we have to give something.
Join Dr. Kenn and the rest of the Sunday Six on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
Release and Let Go
Michael Beckwith says that 100% of spiritual growth is in the letting go of ideas, beliefs and attachments that no longer serve to create openness and spaciousness.
The all-knowing Spirit within always knows what is necessary to release. Our work is to be still, listen to voice within, and follow its guidance. As Spirit fills our being with the Truth, we can relax, release, and let go of all that is no longer needed.
Through visioning for what needs to be released, we set the stage for receiving greater good, which includes allowing change to take place.
The SOM Trinity, summed up in the statement, “Where your attention goes, energy flows and manifestation follows” is central to these three stages:
Ask for Spirit’s highest vision of what needs to be released;
Keep your attention on this question long enough to receive the visionary insight on what needs to be released; and
Manifest the vision by embracing the conscious and creative mind.
Grief Support Group
Many of us have experienced change and loss on many levels, especially in this last year. If you’re feeling the need for support for any kind of loss, Pauline Weninger, RScP and Rev. Melody Bailey offer a drop-in Grief Support Group. The next meeting is on Wednesday, March 17 at 7pm.

Fellowship
Remember when we used to hang around together after service, and check in with each other, connect, talk about the service or just share about our lives in general? Our long-time CSLK member, Laura Green, is recreating that same experience on Zoom (as closely as possible), every two weeks. If you’re looking for that community feel, come and help create it. We’re so grateful for Laura in taking the leap forward to help facilitate this time together!
Join Laura for a time of Fellowship on Zoom, directly following our Sunday Service on Facebook Live this Sunday, March 14, 2021. (You’ll have to jump over from Facebook to Zoom.) See event details.

Got Your Membership?
It’s just two weeks until our AGM! Please make sure you sign up for membership so you can vote! We have an easy form on the Ways to Donate page of our website (you can also get to it via the orange MEMBERSHIP button on the home page).
Membership is full of meaning. It gives each of us the opportunity to consciously and mindfully say: “Yes! I choose to belong to the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna. This is my spiritual community. I am home.”
Membership is also a legal requirement to be a voting member at our Annual General Meeting which is coming up March 21st. We’ll meet at 2pm on Zoom to share the “state of our community” and vote in our Board members. This is an open meeting; however, you must be officially signed up and registered as a 2021 member to vote. See the 2021 AGM Agenda.
Free SOM Magazine
You are welcome to pick up a free issue of the current SOM magazine as our gift to you. The magazines are in a plastic bag outside of the Pandosy Peace Centre, on the table that faces Pandosy Street.

Coffee and Connection is every other Thursday, and the next one is on Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 10am to 11am PST. Chat with Dr. Deborah Gordon, Rev. Barbara Samuel and Rev. Gwen Smith about whatever is on your mind!
