Living in the Question
— Dr. Deborah Gordon
“Spirituality serves as our greatest single resource for changing our centuries-old trajectory of violence and division. Spirituality is profoundly transformative when it inspires in us the attitude of surrender to the mystery...”
— Wayne Teasdale, The Mystic Heart, p.11
Dr. Deborah Gordon explores this timely topic of moving forward into a world which for much of us, still looks like the unknown. This message is about living in and from the question of “what could be possible?” as we open up to the impress of a higher ideal and tap into a realm of possibilities much greater than we can begin to imagine for ourselves.
Join Dr. Deborah and the rest of the Sunday Six on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
Living in the Question: A High Idea
Our lives are transformed and expanded when we live in and from the question, “What is Spirit’s highest idea of Itself as my life?”
Direct Revelation is the practice of the Principles of Spiritual Being, Freedom, and Heaven. As individualized expressions of the One Infinite Reality, we have access to the infinite wisdom and intelligence of the Ultimate Reality. Direct Revelation is available to us through our intuition and can be intentionally cultivated through Visioning.
Visioning is the practice of cultivating the Field of Consciousness and illuminating what wants to emerge into form, without preconceived ideas or limitations.
Heaven is the state of awareness of our True Nature. We actively seek to know the True Nature of every individual and celebrate each individual’s unique expression of it.
There is only One Power and Presence, the One Source back of all things. Knowing there is only One Life, this Life must be who I am. Living from a place of curiosity, and remaining open and willing to receive Spirit’s highest vision of Itself expressing through any situation, allows us to live and act from a place of Divine Guidance in order to create Heaven on earth.
Questions open us to something new. They break us away from what we think we know and desire, and invite something greater within to guide us. We learn through curiosity, remaining open to experience a shift of perspective, a new awareness, a heightened experience of life.
Are you willing to ask: “What is Spirit’s highest idea of Itself as my life?”

Fellowship
Remember when we used to hang around together after service, and check in with each other, connect, talk about the service or just share about our lives in general? Our long-time CSLK member, Laura Green, is recreating that same experience on Zoom (as closely as possible), every two weeks. If you’re looking for that community feel, come and help create it. We’re so grateful for Laura in taking the leap forward to help facilitate this time together!
Join Laura for a time of Fellowship on Zoom, directly following our Sunday Service on Facebook Live (two Sundays from now) on March 14, 2021. (You’ll have to jump over from Facebook to Zoom.) See event details.

Membership Drive is in Full Force
With only a couple of weeks until our AGM, please make sure you sign up for membership so you can vote! We have an easy form on the Ways to Donate page of our website (you can also get to it via the orange MEMBERSHIP button on the home page).
Membership is full of meaning. It gives each of us the opportunity to consciously and mindfully say: “Yes! I choose to belong to the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna. This is my spiritual community. I am home.”
Membership is also a legal requirement to be a voting member at our Annual General Meeting which is coming up March 21st. We’ll meet at 2pm on Zoom to share the “state of our community” and vote in our Board members. This is an open meeting; however, you must be officially signed up and registered as a 2021 member to vote. See the 2021 AGM Agenda.
Free SOM Magazine
You are welcome to pick up a free issue of the current SOM magazine as our gift to you. The magazines are in a plastic bag outside of the Pandosy Peace Centre, on the table that faces Pandosy Street.
