How to Use It

How to Use It

— Dr. Kenn Gordon

It works if you work it.

— Rev. Dr. Johnnie Coleman

Dr. Kenn explores the ideas found in this paragraph from the “How to Use It” chapter in the introduction to the Science of Mind text book.

“A new light is coming into the world. We are on the borderland of a new experience. The veil between Spirit and matter is very thin. The invisible passes into visibility through our faith in it. A new science, a new religion, and a new philosophy are rapidly being developed. This is in line with the evolution of the great Presence and nothing can hinder its progress. It is useless, as well as foolish, to make any attempts to cover this Principle, or to hold It as a vested right of any religion, sect, or order. The Truth will out, the Spirit will make Itself known. Happy are we if we see these things which, from the foundation of the human race, have been longed for by all aspiring souls.”

Dr. Deborah Gordon will be moderating a Q&A session as part of the service, and invites your questions to ask Dr. Kenn on this talk’s topic, or anything else you have heard in the “Back to Basics” series during the month of January. It can be about anything relevant in life (relationships, creativity, prosperity, health). Please send your questions to Dr. Deborah at revgord@shaw.ca or by Facebook Messenger.

Join Dr. Kenn and the rest of the Sunday Six on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

Looking Above

Behind and above it all, is God. As we advance through our year and continue allowing the evolutionary impulse of Spirit to work through us and our communities, we do so remembering and committing to an upward journey of Divine Unfoldment.

Spirit is imminent and immediate, wholly responsible for creating everything in this moment. We cultivate an awareness of the Presence permeating it all. By cultivating this awareness, we open to the transcendent, magical, powerful experience of God in everything. To be truly evolutionary, we must catch and hold the vision for the Divine unfolding.

God is ALL THERE IS. We are living the Divine life now, in our own individualized lives. The truth of each seemingly individual human is that God is moving through us, as us. The experience of heaven is available now.

This week, and throughout this year, remember the power and potential of God. Surrender to the unfolding will of the Divine, and see the deep magic and high vision just waiting to be revealed!
