Our Vision revealed!

We are joyfully pulling together all of the pieces required to call in our new Senior Minister. We made a conscious decision to begin this process by holding a couple of Visioning sessions. It began with our spiritual leadership and Board of Trustees, and was followed by our community visioning session. This sacred practice opened us up to Spirit's highest idea for the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna.

I am happy to share that Rev. Corinne Crockett and I worked together to summarize what was revealed through these sessions. It was a beautiful process and we were honoured to capture the results.

Here it is: Spirit's highest idea for the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna

The Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna is a loving, expansive, living, breathing, diverse, and growing hub overflowing with people, families and individuals. The Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna is grounded in Science of Mind principles and practices which transforms lives, communities, and the world. Spirit is the source and supply of everything, and abundance permeates all aspects of the Centre. It is a joy-filled, vibrant, peaceful, creative community that values and accepts everyone.

Members of the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna teach, grow, learn and live Science of Mind principles and practices in a safe, loving, inclusive and joy-filled community where they are valued, accepted, seen, and heard. They feel a sense of connection and belonging; are engaged, committed and supportive, and freely share their love for the Centre. Members are radiant lights shining within our CSLK community and our outer communities.

I encourage each and every one of us to read this out loud every day, feeling what this feels like, and knowing this is our truth.

If any of you are interested in the full summary report, please connect with me at jeanettef@telus.net and I'll joyfully send it to you.

What's next?

Now that we have revealed Spirit's highest idea for our beloved community, we must release our fears that are blocking this truth. We are human, after all! Some of the pieces identified through visioning that require releasing, include old ideas and patterns, negativity and judgement, and fear and lack of trust. It was identified that we need to embrace faith, trust and connection.

Let's do this!

We were planning to begin this Fear to Faith work on September 17, and I'm excited to share that Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn is going to facilitate this work with us when she visits our community on September 28. She is joining us to facilitate four days of the Community Co-Creation process, and this spiritual practice includes the Fear to Faith work. We value your time, and decided rather than offering a Fear to Faith process and then repeating the same work in Dr. Kathy's session, we would encourage your attendance at her session on September 28.

The co-creation process releases our fears, moves us into faith, and creates our sacred covenent with our new Senior Minister.

What this means is our Fear to Faith session on September 17 has been cancelled, and Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn will be working with our entire community on September 28 from 6pm to 9pm. Everyone is invited, and no experience is required. I encourage everyone to attend. This deeply personal, sacred process transforms lives and spiritual communities. I want you all to experience it!

We'll be downtown at the Royal Anne Hotel, 348 Bernard Ave, September 28 from 6pm to 9pm for this important evening.

Know that you are loved.

With gratitude,

Rev. Jeanette Vinek

President, CSL Kelowna Board of Trustees
