Embrace the Now
— Amanda Pope, RScP
“As soon as you honour the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out of the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love – even the most simple action.”
— Eckhart Tolle
What are you doing right now? Not today, not this week, but right now in this very moment? Our most powerfully creative point is the present moment. Let’s explore how to use the ‘now’ to create more peace, more love, more joy, and more abundance in our lives.
Join Amanda and the rest of the Sunday Six on January 16th at 10:30am on Facebook Live.
Tune in early at 10:20am to hear the music of New Thought musician, Karen Drucker.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
Embrace the Now
Awareness and appreciation of wonder can only happen in the Now. In fact, everything happens in the Now; there is no other moment. By being present in wonder, we are transformed by coming into alignment with Life.
The universe conspires for our Highest Good. Life happens for us. Life is not a series of random events. It is a highly intelligent unfolding, giving us whatever is most supportive of the evolution of our consciousness.
Too often, we take life for granted and move through it on autopilot; or we sleepwalk our way through it and life just passes us by. When we aren’t present for our lives, we are missing out on Life Itself.
Curiosity is a type of Mindfulness practice. Mindfulness brings us into the only moment there ever was, is, or will be: the Eternal Now. Life only happens in the Now. If we aren’t living in the present moment, are we really living? When we are curious, when we wonder, we come alive and make direct contact with Life.
