Better Together

Better Together

— Drs. Deborah and Kenn Gordon

If our human relations are to mean the most to us, we must sense that there is hidden within, around, and through each of us a Divine Presence manifesting Itself in infinite variations – the same impulse, the same Love and Life, but never quite alike in any two persons.

— 365 Science of Mind (2001) p. 73.2

Attend our Sunday Celebration in person at an outdoor location in East Kelowna this Sunday, August 23 at 10:30 am! If you can’t attend in person, you can still watch on Facebook Live . See more information below.

Our first in-person Sunday Celebration in 22 weeks will take place this Sunday, August 23 at an outdoor venue where we can be comfortable, physically distanced and in compliance with BC health guidelines.

You must register on our website (cslkelowna.org) under Upcoming Events or go directly there now by clicking here. Once you RSVP, you'll get an email detailing the location and guidelines for health and safety at the service. We’re limited to 40 guests. If you RSVP after we’ve reached our head count limit, you’ll go on a waiting list. If there’s a cancellation, you’ll get an email alerting you to an opportunity to register for that spot.

Sing along with us, but...

Since the science says singing emits droplets into the air, please wear a mask and/or make sure you’re 2 metres away from anyone else.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We've learned BC health guidelines require 3 metres distance for singing. The venue ensures 2 metres distance between bubbles, so you are REQUIRED to WEAR a MASK when singing.

This week’s point of view from the Science of Mind

Inclusion is the basis of all that there is. There is one God, one mind, one spirit, and one power.

Evolution is Inclusive. Each expression, both singularly and collectively, is necessary and inseparable from the whole. We would not exist as we do without the amoeba; and whatever is evolving into expression needs both the amoeba and us… ALL FORM IS TEMPORAL. The evolution of culture demands that history be included as foundational while simultaneously surrendering its form to evolution.

We are intertwined like a beautiful tapestry. Spiritually speaking, we are all part of one big energy organism, a tapestry if you will, expressing and experiencing itself; the seen and the unseen. All energy is co-mingled like water in the ocean; impossible to determine where one drop begins or ends, because there is no true separation of individualized expressions of energy.
