Annual General Meeting - by video conferencing
Dear Beloved Community,
In light of our current need for social distancing we will be holding our AGM by video conference this year. The good news is that this is a VERY simple way for us to connect online. All you need is a computer with a camera and microphone. We will be connecting through the Zoom video-conferencing platform. We have a committee who are committed to assisting people with the technology to make sure that every person is supported in attending and that all members are able to fully participate in this meeting. Once we all log on to Zoom it will be just like we are in person together at the Peace Centre. We will be able to see each other’s faces and share comments and questions. It will be easy for each person to vote, and I’ll explain more about that when we are all online on Sunday.

Irene Harms, Mary Wegner, and I will be there to assist you in seamlessly connecting into these virtual community meetings. Irene Harms has also generously offered to provide some training to anyone who would like some support with using Zoom this week. She can be reached by email or phone at email@example.com or 250-808-6177.
If you have any questions or concerns about this meeting format please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org . We, the Board of Trustees, are committed to ensuring that every person who would like to participate in this AGM will have full access to do so. And it is very important to us that you do attend the meeting so that you can hear all about the business of our spiritual community. This is also the opportunity for your voice to be heard. As a non-profit society we need to have a quorum in fulfill our legal obligations.
I look forward to sharing this time with you this weekend. You are loved. You are appreciated. You are a valuable member of this community.
