Special Meeting cancelled

We are having a very rare, special meeting of our official membership to vote in a brand new beautiful set of Bylaws for our Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna.

It's the very first ever (in our 28-year history) Special Meeting of our Membership. This is the last step for voting in our spiffed up, clarified, clean and clear bylaws. Since we’ll be going into the meeting with our current bylaws, we need a quorum of 25 people. If you’re a current member of our Centre, it would be such a blessing if you could be there for the vote. Your votes really count!

Our new bylaws came out of a beautiful bylaws committee that was stewarded by Laura Green. Laura has extensive professional experience with bylaws, and so we’re blessed to know that these have been created and vetted with such care and wisdom. Please, as a member, if you can be there to do your part to vote them in, that would be such an appreciated act of service. 

Amanda Pope will be emailing each member on our current list with our proposed new bylaws, so please be on the lookout for that and read them over. At the meeting, we’ll offer a time for clarification and to answer any questions. We so appreciate your willingness to attend and vote.

Please RSVP so we can ensure 25 votes. (If by chance you forget to register, as long as you are a member, you can still come to the meeting and vote.) This process of reinventing our bylaws is foundational to our greater “next to be”!

Note: If you are not yet a 2021 CSLK member, you can still sign up as a 2021 CSLK member in advance of this meeting. Then you can attend the meeting as a voting member.
