BC Thanksgiving Food Drive: drop off bags

On Tuesday, September 19 at 6pm, volunteers will be given paper food bags to drop off at each home in a selected area. The paper bag explains that the volunteers will pick up the paper bag (hopefully filled with non-perishable food donations) sometime during the morning of Saturday, September 23 (after 9am). Please sign up for the paper food bag pick up, too, if you can!

These collected bags are taken to the cultural hall of the local church where the bags are emptied, sorted into boxes or containers to be quickly shipped over to the local Food Bank.

Posters will have been displayed throughout the community to ensure that everyone is aware of this food drive. They are also distributed into businesses and grocery stores.
